Help for a old man

Hi guys. Haven't been on AOA for sometime. I have a silly question. Just got
a new system. The mobo has xpress 200 graphics and I have a 6600GT pci express card. What should I do for the chipset drivers? RS480/SB400. CPU is
an Venice 3500+ 64 Bit and Asus mobo. Any help would be very helpful. Can't find any info on this subject. Do I need to install chipset drivers?

yep, ya do. install the chipset drivers from the cd. I found no difference in newer drivers, except that the Sata driver on my board wouldn't update then.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know if the with interfere with my nvidia drivers. Do you have a link to some drivers Cadaveca?

it won't interfere with the nvidia drivers, as each driver is for specific hardware, and the chipset drive is different than video.

download the chipset driver from the low-speed dial-up section at the bottom of the page.
