Ageia

I have a little problem, I want a PhysX card.... But I don't have any PCI slots left. Any way(without extreme modding) that I could run it in a PCIE 16x slot at the same time as my 7800GTX? IR will there be an extrenal version?

Only one game supports it which is Ghost Reacon: Advanced Warfare.

And no, I heard there was a PCI-E version planned, but not sure when.

I meant if a PCIE version comes out, but would I be able to run it with my 7800GTX? How would that work would I have to put it in SLI mode?

it won't work. should be a pci-2x or 4x connector needed. I've only seen a single pci-e cards other than a network card...and that's a tv tuner, 1x pci-e. Anyway, if a pci-e network card won't work when dual16x-slot motherboards are in "SLi" mode, then a phys-x card won't work either.

My X-fi, MyHD TV tuner. The other is a extra PCI 16x slot and a PCI 1x slot.

Good article today on http://www.Anandtech.com about the Asus version of this card. PCI only, speculation is that a 1X PCI-E card will be available soon.
