I do hope the clock speed scales nicely as an even if that was dual core the E6300 will eat it alive.
Will these chips be on the shelves before 45nM intel chips ?

Obviously the clock speed will HAVE to be able to scale nicely or it won't be able to compete with Conroe.

However, your question well and truly hits the nail on the head. Unless Intel has some real problems with 45nM, AMD will be right back in the same boat they are in now.
