Opinions wanted for next build.

I want to get some opinions on this gear for my next build. I am kinda iffy on the MB, and i havnt picked a video card because i am waiting till the DirectX 10 cards come out. I would love to find a decent MB with SLI for around 100$us, so any recommendations would be great. Let me know what you think fo these choices. I will not be building this for a little while though, so i have plenty of time for choices.

The links for the gear are in a post below, so scroll down please.

Unfortunately not - its ony 939, so you need to look at perhaps ASUS's AM2 products based on either 570 or 590 chipset.

As i said before, i really need opinions on the individual parts, especially the motherboard. I would like to hear other recomendation for a MB that is SLI ready, and costs around 100$ us. I have not chosen a video card, i am waiting for Direct X 10 cards and will purchase one then. But this is a budget build and i need the most bang for the buck, but i also need great Overclocking options on the MB, so all suggestions from those wiser than me are welcome and needed, Thanks in advance.

Clear cases look great but I wouldn't get one because of no EMF shielding and you generate large static charges when you "rub" them. Sorry, dunno jack about the mainboard or the PSU.

I think you might be getting better value if you spent a bit more and went Core 2 Duo and overclocked it hard, but that's just speculation.

I would also think about getting a different case, I'm not too much of a fan of the plexi case either.

Well I like the case. Have been looking at them for a while. You could mask it off and paint some of the areas that you do not want to show.

It all looks great...I love my OCZ memory.....

I am not really sure on the exact budget yet, but i am guessing at around 1000$, the cheaper the better, but i still want it to be a good rig for a couple years at least. My rig now has lasted me for a while so i figured that the stuff i have chosen ought to be able to keep up with games for quite a while. I will choose a video card once the DirectX 10 cards come out, but i am planning on spending about 300 - 400 $ on the video card alone.
As far as the case goes, i have an old dell case that i am gonna mod out that i may end up using for the new build. I am not planning on starting this build for a few months still so i have time to change my mind about parts.

Good idea, rush buying is a bad move.

i848? Is that an Intel thing? Sorry but i tend to be kind of an AMD fanboy these days....nothing against Intel, i am just so much more familiar with AMD chips i just feel more comfortable working with them. But do tell me what i848 is. I am all about getting the most bang for my buck these days.

Make the move to LGA775 (Conroe) and get an E6400, seriously faster than AM2 and more performance per watt in my opinion, that's until AMD release something incredible and we all drool over AMD gaming rigs again.
