Another 754 Project

even with all the new pricing and the AMD/ATI merger, I plan on another
skt 754 system. I have a 3200 that needs a new home and I want to use
the EP 8NPA-SLI for the NF4 and SATA. I aready have one (8NPA-SLI) and
I like it. another chance to build twin systems!
I'll sell of some of the sktA and move to 939/940/AM2 later next year. the
move to DDR2 will be expensive and I will need to keep up on my folding.

Ron

I still build skt 754 systems for people. I think they are very fast and affordable.

Keep up the Fold there dabaerman.

Nothing wrong with tried and true! I wish it was practical to buy DDR2 in advance of your next build, would have saved some bucks for sure. The Christmas inflation syndrome has made DDR2 more expensive.

agreed! no forsight! 20/20 hind sight is notoriously accurate.
memory prices dictate a keener sense of timing for the ever watchfull
bargain hunter.

I seriously thought about buying DDR2, but didn't think it was smart to wind up with sticks that wouldn't work in my future mosheen. Arrgh, if only AMD and Intel boxen didn't need different RAM! Haven't made my mind up about the kind of box I'll build next.
