A7N8Xdel ver2-BIOS SUGGESTIONS

First post here, although I do frequent a halfdozen other sites, this one seems to focus more on OC'ing, so figured I'd ask over here. I'ms sure there are a few Asus users with valid experience, and appreciate all suggestions.

Been using the Asus mobo above for about 2yrs, and have relegated it to backup and htpc status. However, I would like to squeeze out alittle more speed from the mobile 2500 Barton. Using aSus 1008 bios, but it seems to not be quite right. For instance "system performance"tab is unchangeable, despite selecting "user" in tab above. And I cant seem to get enough vcore (my uinlocked desktop2500 actually outperforms the mobile) to be stable at anything over 2200 mhz. There are other enhancements/hidden features the modded bios deliver, I'd lke to hear from some users who can provide experience-backed input, although anecdotal.

I've researched Trats, demopoulos, and some other 3rd party modded bios, that seem to offer more for the hardcoreclocker which pretty well describes me (I'll hotrod anything, you ought to see my high compression, ported chainsaw, not to mention the 69 396 chevelle, jetski, motorcycles, vw rails etc) If it aint broke, overclock it till it is lol-actually have never burned up any cpu's, yet! I've got cooling handled, and running 100% cpu load it doesnt exceed 58 c over hours of testing, 20 degrees cooler at modest use levels.

What is the best of the bios to use? Its hard to compare them differentially, and I'd rather only flash to the optimum. If nothing else, I'll reflash w official bios at the very least, but I dont believe there is a newer one out...appreciate all tips ! !

Hmm, no one still using this platform? I like it for my backup/htpc bedroom pc...still looking for some experienced help. Thanx!

Google up <A7N8X uber bios> and look around for the best one for you.
These are modded versions and there are other mods as well.
I don't know enough about that board and bios versions to be recommending one.
