That's too bad. Once upon a time, ECS boards were really good. Looks like the PC Chips Group finally lived up to its name. Tsk.

I have used them before with no problems. Hopefully none of the others die...

I'd go with the NF4 just 'cause I like mine. however, there are other 'uinfied' or north/south bridge in one chip, other than PC Chips.
the Ali; ULI chipset, AMD 6100 and ATI perform quite well. too bad dual chanel ddr isn't supported on 754. it would allow for that
cpu to stay on the market longer.

ABIT NF8V, A64 3000 Newcastle 225X10
Epox 8NPA Sli, A64 3000 Venice 220X11
Epox 8U1697 GLI A64 3200 Newcastle 220X11

if I took more time to tweak them, I am sure to get a few more Mhz. they are folding 24/7 for team 45.

Mate I had a Gigabyte K8N 754 socket (sorry I do not remember more 2.5 years ago LOL) but the mainboard has ROCK STABLE, terravolts and 330 MHz FSB without modding etc...
