Winfast Foxconn NF4SK8AA overclocking

Hi

I recently purchased a Foxconn motherboard.i can get to 230fsb stable oc in the bios,but anything beyond,and it loops after the post.any ideas gladly welcomed to get a higher stable fsb.Im running with the latest bios,dated 7/7/2006.

It is an NF 4 SLI chipset. I am sure a few of these guys here have a similar board.

I have the same motherboard and the same BIOS. I can get it up to an FSB of 265; anything beyond that and it loops during POST. However, using ClockGen in Windows, I can push the FSB up to 299 without any problems. It's only when I alter the FSB within the BIOS itself that I encounter this problem. I suspect that the problem is not with the hardware, but the BIOS software. Perhaps it has a bug? Or maybe it's long overdue for an update? Anyone have any ideas?

I just picked up a DFI nf4 board. I have been doing a lot of reading on overclocking. Where do you have your htt set? You want to keep it as close to 2000 as possible. And maybe a little under. If you are too high or too low it can cause looping or system instability. It will not effect your performance to OC the HTT.
