See here, AMD gets phenomenal with Phenom processors

8 cores is already in discussion, and as i said then seen it all before.

Could build the intel version today if i wanted to and could of done for the past 6 months or so. Rumour has it tho even the server versions (what were coming out first) of the new amd core are starting to slip as 'bug remain and new ones are being discovered' latest i heard its slipped from a june date to a august maybe septmeber day.

8-core! Thats nothing. Scientists at the University of Tokyo have built a 500MHz 512-core processor.
