| Welcome to AOA. The 400 watter should be enough if it is of good quality. What PSU did you install? Is it when you tax it or just any time?

| If you are playing a game when it shuts down, it is likely due the the new power supply not being up to the task. If it is a cheap unit, 400 watts does not always mean 400 watts. You would be better off to spend a little more and qet a quality unit.

| Try running a benchmark program or a stress program. 3D mark or Prime 95 See if it shuts down. Just because one PSU unit works in one rig does not mean it will work in another. Plus, if it is a cheapie, the chance of it being junk from the get go are more likely.

| Click on the link in the post above for a download to get you started. This will max out your computer. If is shuts down, the PSU is no good.

| Use any of these programs to load-up your system: CPU Burn-in Stress |

| If you have Bulging Capacitors on the Motherboard, it's dead or soon to be dead!!! Capacitors regulate the DC Voltage going to electronic parts on the Motherboard. This can also damage other HW parts too by the voltage not being control properly, or not at all as electricity goes through them. I would replace the Motherboard as soon as possible!
