How high should I overclock?
I have a shuttle ak31 3.1, ok at ocing, with a good amount of cooling on it, 2 case fans, an athlon 1700, and a volcano 7(just regular version) cpu cooler. I don't want to unlock the cpu. i just wanted to know how high do you think I should overclock my FSB. Will going from 133 to 140 be ok? Or can i go higher than that?

Dude.

There is no real answer to ur question...execept u should clock it as far as u can! u should be able to get 150FSB with it...but i don't know about the dividers...just clock till u stop

At 160FSB i experinced hard drive corruption.....so I say that 155FSB or less should be in the "safe zone"

I've run a 1.4 Athlon at 163 on one of those boards, but in your case the limiting factor will be the 1700XP: expect about 150 max, and more like 147fsb.
