Safe temps?

Im just wondering what you guys think of these temps?

The one im wondering about is the MCP

Without knowing what it is I can only guess. But I think MCP temperature would be the northbridge. At 73ºC I wouldnt stress too much, if it tips to 76-78ºC I might be concerned. What sort of cooling does your northbridge have?

EDIT: If its the stock cooling shown here:

Look at some after market cooling such as:

You may want to consider attaching a fan to it as well if possible.

It stays around 70c under 100% load . Its a passive heatsink (big one at that)

I would not want it any warmer.

I freak out if mine gets close to 50.

Load up an SMP core on it and see what it does.

Was that sneaky enough or just too obvious?

LoL sam thats how she is @ 100%load smp+gpu2 no issues she stays around 70C when its HOT outside now thats its chilly today 100%load is @ 50-60c
