In days of yore if one was experiencing difficulty in going along with the program, the Army might send such a misfit to see what was in the building behind the sign on the lawn advertising "Mental Hygiene."
Therein Tide detergent and warm water were poured into the ear, the head was shaken none too gently and the sudsy water was poured out of the other ear. Hey, it worked for me!

Glad it did George! Santa wants to know on this computer that you use to post here on AOA what browser and what OS are you using?

I've had a little bit of time with Windows 7, only a couple of complaints. 1. It reads all of my drives in the wrong order. It's slow in comparison to XP and my linux installs. I'm going to try a couple of the guides for thinning it out and see what happens.

I don't have any plans of giving up linux completely, I'll still be running it on my server and I figure I can leave it on my main rig without doing any harm. I'll just use it for the enjoyment factor.

I wanted to ask you to send it back before it harms the purity of your soul, but it didn't seem to be my place...LOL

Didn't I read somewhere that Win7 installed in eleven minutes flat? Or was that person unbelievably lucky or simply unbelievable?

I read that Win8 is really weird(at least for old pharts) and that it'll be a dud like Vista and whatever it was that followed Win98 SP2.
