Amd 990fxa

without much fanfare, that I heard, AMD has offered up a chipset that will do crossfire-x as well as SLI!

ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte offer them. ASUS & Gigabyte offer up 2 flavors, MSI with one so far.

ASUS Crosshair V Formula & Sabertooth, Gigabyte calls them UD5 & UD7 while MSI's 990FXA-GD80 comes in
as the only board not claiming to be Dual@16X.

I am looking for another multi GPU mb for my nVidia cards. price wise, I like the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5.
on paper it looks like the pick of the litter in the under $200 bracket.

AMD has taken a Giant leap in securing there future in the industry. my hat's off to them.

Folding 24/7 with AMD QuadCore CPU's & nVidia Cuda Powered GPU's
