Two new Athlon II X4 processors

AMD has rolled out two new AMD Athlon II X4 processors. One clocked at 2.7 GHz, and one at 2.8 GHz.

The slower version draws 65W TDP. The faster one clocks 100 Mhz faster, and draws 100W TDP. WTH? That's plain weird imho.

At a guess, I'd say it means their manufacturing process needs some tweaking yet, and these puppies aren't going to overclock very well.

These new Athlon II's sans built-in GPU seem a bit silly, imho. I'd much prefer a Phenom II, tbh.
