Odds of a 1Ghz Duron runnins 1.33Ghz with air cooling?

Anyone have a Duron 1Ghz running at 1.33Ghz with air cooling? Thinking of upgrading a Celeron and a 1Ghz is pretty cheap and to be able to run it at 1.33Ghz would be pretty sweet.

My Morgan can do up to 1300 on 1.85V (Crucial DDR CL2.5 @ 2). Mobo doesn't allow to go higher on Vcore, but I guess the chip can do 1.33.

oh, btw, I'm using Alpha PAL6035 w/ Y.S. Tech fan. Summer temps are 44'C at load with ~32'C case temp. but it did go up to a 50'C once.

yeah if you read my DURON OR ATHLON thread, I've done this. Seemed to run pretty cool too.

I had a modded SK6 (like the one shown at OC) on it too.

My expirience:

Duron 1GHz and 1.1GHz which have the stepping code of AHHAA are good for about 1.25GHz at 1.85V with aircooling, and max out at about 1.32GHz with voltage mods and extreme aircooling.

Duron 1.2GHz and 1.3GHz which have the stepping code of AHLCA are good for about 1.4GHz at 1.85V with aircooling, and max out at about 1.475 with voltage mods(over-current protection must be adjusted on 8KHA+) and extreme aircooling.

There may be some Duron 1GHz and/or 1.1GHz floating around in the newer AHLCA stepping, in which case you would see a very nice overclock, and excelent bang for buck.

AHlCA- i built one of those- got it to 1.4 on a fic board- worked GREAT!

Hit it perfectly Dimm. I've got a 1Ghz running at 1.4Ghz. Got away with a little less voltage though, 1.8. Have to RMA the board that came with it though, the stupid clip that holds the HSF broke...

Just got one... running Duron 1ghz @1.38. Don't have the right set up to push it. Stock voltage reading as 1.82v on my MBM.

Durons seriously spank Celerys :P

just thought i'd add that.
i mean, in all honesty, i'd much prefer a stock Duron 800 over a stock Celery 1gig.... and i'm pretty darn sure it'll O/C better.

ideally, 600 or 700 old school durons are the choice.
but, and i have not yet had one, i'd love a 1ghz-1.x Morgan Duron.

i totally skipped from 700,750,800's that i had here on KT133A's with SDRAM
and upgraded all my rigs to KT266a and KT333 with XP cpu's and DDR.

sadly i never had an actual Athlon, or a Duron faster than 800...
i'm planning to grab a few when and if i find real nice deals, just to play with em'... cuz i do wonder how they stack up to the XP's
