| I have 3 case fans- 2 on the side and 1 on the front case. All 3 of them flow air INTO the case. I also have 2 PCI slot fans. Both of them suck hot air OUT of the case. I also have an Ultimate Hard Drive Cooler w/ 2 high performance 40mm DC fans, 13cfm. Both of them also flow air INTO the case to cool the hard drive. ATX 420w power supply also have 2 fans. My CPU fans is Dynatron DC1206BM-L638 - 7000 RPM Fan , 44C.F.M

| Sounds like you have a bit of positive air pressure there then. Is there any way to port one of the side "IN" fans so that it is a more direct flow to the CPU as it seems like there may be some cross current keeping the cooler air from reaching the HSF. I've never been a big fan (excuse the pun) of slot fans. They do seem to be a good idea for removing heat from a Video card though. You may want to consider a blowhole in the top of the case to evacuate the hot air buildup there and give the whole box a different flow pattern. Look around in the case mods as there are several members showing off their mods there and a lot of them have a blowhole like I'm talking about. I think "The Screen Savers" just did a segment about case mods also. You may find some info there. I also did a quick Google search on "Blowhole + Case" and found this smart little how to. Give it a look over. http://www.modthebox.com/blowhole.html Hope I've been some help. ![]()

| Its your case temps that are doing it!!! definately swap at least one fan to blow outwards.

| I think Bruno may be onto something. You have a 26C degree difference between your case temp and your CPU temp which is very high. With my super cheapie $9 HSF, I get only an 18C difference. You may have a particle of dust or something trapped between your HSF and your CPU which may be preventing good contact.

| What's your HSF? That temp seems a *bit* high... My cracked XP1900+ runs at 41C/106F under full load, and the case is 31C/88F... I would reccomend tossing a 120MM high-output fan on the top of your case... That should help get some air out of the case, which could be your problem, because if the air in your case is all hot, then it will raise the temp of the CPU.. |

| The A7V333 reads the AMD internal diode. 56*c might be slightly high but you have nothing to worry about. The internal diode reads the "true" die temperature this can be upto 15*c higher than a sensor under the socket. Your CPU wont suffer any damage unless itreacher 90*c+ If your planning on overclocking try to get that case temperature down a bit.
