NEW LargePageMinimum fix for 2K/XP/AMD

Well, there is a NEW LargePageMinimum registry addition to supposedly help 2K/XP running on AMD systems.

You can read about it HERE at MS's Site

This time they post the registry tweak, it's easy enough, I just did it.
Or, you can go to Warp2Search's Download Links and find a link to d/l the .reg file that does it automatically for you by double clicking it.

I'll try (most) anything once. heh

I wonder if one should uninstall an earlier version of this file? It came from AMD.

It's easy enough to check to see if the registry entry already exists. I'd already done the previous entry, and there are a number of them under ControlSet001, 002, etc.

Later, that same day...
Well, for the life of me, I can't find where I'd already done this reg entry, but I'm POSITIVE (I think) there was another place with this entry.
I have been known to be wrong..

I guess the reason I'm thinking this is NEW is that I just found it under current events at the site... ah, well, sorry if this is old news after all.

AMD's "largePageMinimum" registry patch for Win2K seems to work for XP. One of my hand's is temporarily inop. This takes the fun out of gaming. I'll see about the gaming problem soonish.
