How wrong I was .... the 144 will be out and the 3800 X2 (LCBQE/0648SPMW) will be in. Now just need some time.

So - no predictions on next upgrade - theres still some life in this old kit yet.

The x2 3800 is a nice chip.

Mine at 2700 with only 1.425 volts. Nice and cool loaded.

The Socket 939 one?

Yeah Im still using 939. So now using the 939 3800, 1gb ballistix, DFI AGP NF3 Ultra D board with a 6800GT-all under xp. This kit still seems quite solid - still managing to do all I want it too - so Im happy enough. Installed the chip this evening - but not had any time to play with upping the clock - cant really see too much need to though as it manages all Ive asked it to do so far this evening without complaint or stutter.

Long as it folds...who cares...
