I hate getting phone calls offshore.

I am going to make this brief.

My sister passed away. She was 37, a year older than our dad when he passed on. I just got back from CA 2 weeks ago and am going back tomarrow. I feel angry frustrated and tired all at the same time.

I have no idea how she died, only that she was found dead in her home with no apperent cause. We won't know until monday at the earliest. Not knowing is the hardest part.

I offer my condolences and my personal sympathy, both my sisters are very dear to me despite decades of separation.

Try to rest...

I'm very sorry to read this, Staz. It's awful that she left the Earth at so young an age. I lost my brother when he was too young, I miss him terribly. Not knowing why makes it unsettling, to say the least. Be well, go easy on yourself. I apologize for not reading about this sooner.

Thank You all for your concern.

I was doing ok untill the visitation. Seeing my sister in a cofine made it "real". Kind of like hitting me in the face with a sledgehammer of realization. I couldn't stay. I had to force myself from breaking out into run as I escaped that room. The funneral wasn't as bad but could have been made easier. We had all agreed that there was to be no speaches, just a simple quick ceriomy to complete her baptism. Then there would be a grave side mass at the internment the next day. But out priest (the one who baptised my sister, all of my cosuins and myself, and also married my parents and all my aunts and uncles) decided to drive up from San Francisco to deliver the eulogy. It was very beautiful and very heartbreaking.
