| Quite an amazing health tip! Hi everyone. As this can help the whole community, this part of the forum seemed the most appropriate place to post, hope thats ok ![]() I have to tell you about something I've been taking. Its a drink that takes a week or 2 to make by allowing a yeast type organism to grow on a mix of tea and sugar. I have been looking to get some for a number of years but have only just thought to try again. I found some on Ebay for £3 inc delivery, the guy selling it just wanted to spread the word how good it is. The result is quite astonishiing. There is a lot of info on the web about it but before we go any further I'll explain what happened to me. This drink will detox your body like nothing else. It does many other really good things too, I'll come to that later. The first day I drank some that wasnt particlarly strong which is good as the side effects at the start are less. I felt a bit refreshed and happier that day. The second day, I felt a bit down and tired. This was expected as the detox starts working. the third day I felt a bit sluggish but livelier in the brain department. The fourth day, I felt pretty lively all over and could think clearer than I had for a while. My body felt really good and more like it did 10 years ago! Its now a week later and wow, what a difference, I dont ever feel lacking in energy but at the same time I am more relaxed and happier. I feel much healthier, its just crazy. I told a good friend about it before I started to make the drink. We were both skeptical about it, him more so than me. On the first day he had some and then didnt see him for a few days. When he came round on the fourth day, I asked him what he felt like. He went through the same feelings I did! He has had some more since and took a bottle of it home today. He cant quite believe it works but acknowledged that it seems to live up to the hype. He is going to give some to his mum to try it as she is quite poorly. It has also helped with the side effects of my own condition Bruxism (teeth clenching while sleeping - wow hurts!). I'm hopeful that being more relaxed will aid in reducing the severity of this condition too, we'll see ![]() So what is this stuff? Kombucha! There is a lot of info about it on the web, some of it is over hyped and contains incorrect info. reading more will give you a clearer picture. Here are some sites I have read. A good intro http://www.seedsofhealth.co.uk/ferme...kombucha.shtml The gory details http://www.sulis-health.co.uk/kombucha/kombucha.shtml A quick list of its healing properties http://www.diabloid.pwp.blueyonder.c...s/kombucha.htm Peoples experiences going back years. http://www.earthcalls.com/katest.htm What can I say, you owe it to yourself to try! The drink is quite more-ish too, gotta not drink too much nnnng! To get the effect of all the properties its recommended to drink it every day with a break every so often. I imagine the detox will last a while though without it ![]() I can post how to make it and where to put it if anyone has bought some and wants easy instructions. ![]() ![]() ![]()

| its been funny reading the replies ![]() To find cultures, there are online shops or Ebay which is where I got mine. Search for Kombucha. I found number on ebay and selected the cheapest as he was selling it to let everyone have it for very little. The guy I got it from sells it with a buy now of 99p + £2.00 post. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Kombucha-Tea-M...QQcmdZViewItem
