Car accidents hurt :(

My apologies for not being around of late, I have a half finished review of a laptop (done all 3D benchmarks but no HDD or memory ones) which cannot be finished, as the laptop got trashed in my car accident.

Long story short, car spun out, hit the gutter and snapped the rear axle. $3000 AUD to be fixed. So I cant really afford to have my laptop repaired. LG P1 Express Dual. Was a nice unit ...

Anyway, bad things come in threes it seems. First one: 300 GB HDD died. Laptop died in car. Car got bent on gutter.

On the plus side, I graduated high school last friday. On the down side, same day I crashed the car. :\

Was a very emotional day for me, aside from the issue of leaving friends, I really had hoped my Dad could've been there, but it just wasnt meant to be.

But life goes on, what else has been happening around here?

Thanks Dan. It was an ineresting year to say the least. To be honest, I'm just happy I came through the accident with my wallet the only thing taking a beating (a big beating but oh well).

Sorry to hear about your car crash but aslong as you're ok, material goods can be replaced, humans on the other hand cannot be...yet.

Ron, happy to hear that you faired the ordeal well. It is unfortunate that your hardware did not.

Congrats on graduation. Have a great day.
