And scorpions. They hurt a lot more than they look. And they don't look so great, either.

Aren't we supposed to be cheering him up or something? I think all we are doing is listing dangerous fauna.

One of the shifts at the flight line actually caught a camel spider and are keeping it as a pet. Somebody named it Judd Rivers for one reason or another. Supposedly it's just a baby, but it's already about as big as my palm.

We're not exactly among fantomfreq's first fifty priorities, I'm glad that he checked in! I've seen a clip of a full grown camel spider, they are huge and they move very fast. Scary!

Scary, but not venomous, and generally don't attack humans. A great many of the characteristics attributed to them are apparently not true....

The one that's being kept at the flight line is supposedly just a young one, but it's still large enough to scare the crap out of me. Also, a second bonus photo of something that happened earlier this week.
