Chris these scores are not on my Quad but rather my 8400 duo-core.
You know all in all I still think if you can only afford 1 setup then Quad is the way to go for the all around machine. I will say however it has been fun pounding out these scores with this new machine!! I need to updaate my 05 and o3 scores too.

Dsio's Dell M1330 lappy, 2.2Ghz Core2Duo Merom, 4GB RAM.

17.802 isn't quite WZ's sub-10 but for a laptop it makes me smile.

It's a 1M calculation, the results aren't really comparable to Windows SuperPi runs though.

You bet that is a fast score. I ran my 950 presler to 4900mhz and could not get to that time on super pi!! Nice run for any system.

Oh and this is a good score too!!

You didn't have to let them know that =P

Using the windows version of the program under Wine emulation it gets about 23.5s.

I thought about that after I posted it. My 11.3 second run would have looked pretty good..

Edit: It still beats the 25 minute 1M run I pulled off with my 400mhz P2 thinkpad.

Meh lets compare them directly anyway. Nothing wrong with giving WinXP a handicap. =D

Thumbs up

I've been playing a bit with the shaders clock using latest riva tuner and I have to say it's the best result I ever had with this setup. It's the first time I am OC'ing shaders separately and the result is more than what I expected. I think I can up them more since I havent got artifacts. Here are the results. First one with no OC of the gcard second is with upped core/shaders/mem. One more thing, in the last two pics you can see my rig compared with a similar one still his gcard clocks are weird and he scores a lot higher ! What the hell happened there?

A small error in the third pic, correct shader clock is 1650 not 1785
