Get Physx for your 8800 itll boost your score big time. |

![]() And exactly "where" do I get PhysX for my 8800 to boost my score big time??? ![]() Never mind, Nvidia has just released this today & "I'll be bauck" later after I install these drivers and report back with my new testing scores! ![]() NVIDIA Releases GeForce 8 Series PhysX Drivers Here's my Vantage scores at 3.46GHz... CPU score is higher as expected but not radically. Then again I just went from 3.33 to 3.46... Even still, any improvement in your score is good. ![]()

![]() With these new 177.83 PhysX Enabled Drivers, the CPU score went up by 4 times more!!! My CPU score went from 6082 to 24602!!! ![]() So this obviously does enable the Nvidia PhysX for the 8 series cards!!! Yay!!! ![]() I would Highly Recommend installing these drivers for sure! ![]()

A little Improvement with driver 177.98 This is my result using the 177.98 Forceware drivers with PhysX Enabled. A little improvement, but nothing major. ![]()

![]() These are my results using the 178.13 Forceware drivers with PhysX Enabled. A little improvement, but nothing major. Score P6588 This time the GPU score went up & the CPU score went down... ![]()

Forceware Drivers 180.48 This is my latest benchmark using Forceware Drivers 180.48. My CPU score is down because I'm at 3.30GHz, but the GPU score went up with these new drivers! So my overall score is the highest it's been so far! So the 180.48 drivers are good! ![]() Overall score it just a bit lower @ 3.46GHz but not much...hmm ![]() CPU score is higher though. No surprise there.

By your CPU score I can tell you, you don't have the Nvidia PhysX drivers installed or your score would be 4-5 times higher than that. Either that or it's disabled in the Nvidia Control Panel. Look at my CPU score...24,000+ that's because of the PhysX drivers... I'm currently using the Nvidia Geforce 180.48 drivers on all 3 operating systems (including W7) & all of them are very stable. This driver also has given me my highest scores & best gaming performance & FPS of any drivers to date! OK ![]() So I'd say go with the 180.48 drivers... ![]()

In the middle of my install. OC is the same. 180.20 drivers + Physx 8.11.18

![]() Now that's a CPU score! ![]() Looks like your CPU with the newer drivers is taking on a lot more of the game rendering by your GPU score being lower. But that's a good thing! This gives your graphics card more overhead for the games renderings. ![]() Oh btw PPM, Nvidia just release new Geforce drivers v181.20 WHQL! I tested these out already & they work great! Blazing Fast Performance: * Boosts performance in numerous 3D applications. The following are some examples of improvements measured with Release 180 drivers vs. Release 178 drivers (results will vary depending on your GPU, system configuration, and game settings): o Up to 10% performance increase in 3DMark Vantage (performance preset) o Up to 13% performance increase in Assassin's Creed o Up to 13% performance increase in BioShock o Up to 15% performance increase in Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts o Up to 10% performance increase in Crysis Warhead o Up to 25% performance increase in Devil May Cry 4 o Up to 38% performance increase in Far Cry 2 o Up to 18% performance increase in Race Driver: GRID o Up to 80% performance increase in Lost Planet: Colonies o Up to 18% performance increase in World of Conflict

You would not believe what that 181.20 driver and seprate install of PhysX 8.11.18 did to my folding. Muy GPU client is the roughly the same, 3 to 4k. The SMP client jumped x5 to 2200 ppd! I need to go ask TR about this! ![]()

![]() Outstanding PPM! Glad your new system & drivers are kickin ass! ![]() You must be using a beta PhysX driver as the driver that's included in the newest Nvidia graphics driver 181.20 is v8.10.13. I did a little investigating & this is the PhysX package out of the Cuda drivers...hmm. I'm going to see what it does for my card & system along with the 181.20 drivers... Btw, this newer NVIDIA PhysX System driver 9.09.0010 was just released yesterday so I'm going to give it a try! I'll report back with a Vantage benchmark. ![]() I also Uploaded the v9 PhysX drivers to the AOA files as soon as someone posts them to the site you can download them from AOA! (Hint, hint, nudge, nudge) ![]() Here's my 3D Mark Vantage score & it's the highest it's been for 3.30GHz! So this is good stuff! ![]() Mind you, I'm running all this on Windows 7 Ultimate! I love this OS for gaming...outstanding DX10 performance over Vista!

You're a butt! ![]() I'm going to try the new PhysX just as soon as I find it and install it.
