How to join the AOA 3DMark2001 Team
In the title of the project enter (www.aoaforums.com). This will allow any software we develop to gather our results from Madonion.com to recognize you as a team member.

Rules:

1 - No artifacts during benchmarking. Artifacts are an indication of a poor overclock. Benchmarks are to be run on a 100% stable system. No exceptions!!

2 - All benchmarks need to be run (that's right, no wussing-out on the last half of the show!! )

3 - All benchmarks need to be run at the 3dMark defaults.


For a copy of the latest 3dMark2001 SE software, click here or from one of the sites listed here. AOAfiles.com also has the benchmark.

Let me finish downloading DX8.1, set my GF2MX400 SDR in to gaming mode (250/203 ) and see what pathetic scores I can actually manage . . .

Not too bad, considering the graphics card and the throttled back FSB. Had to throttle the GPU back from 250 to 246 to keep it artifact free in the flying turd "DOT3 bump-mapping" test too.

This is using the integrated graphics processor built into the MSI nForce board. Not the most impressive score, but hey, the board only cost $140.00 with IGP, built in 5.1 sound and NIC. Just had to buy a CPU and memory.

currnent high score is 9464 although i have run 9550 but didnt bother to add the score to madonion. I will do under the AOA name soon.

Well driver change didn't matter much.

Baddd

And now up to 1500 just by changing the Z-Buffer Depth from 24 to 16. from a Score of 1437.

Remember, in order for us to count it here, the test has to be run at 3dMark default settings.
