Exclamation W7 DX11 Heaven Benchmark

The first DirectX 11 benchmark released on the basis of Unigine engine | Unigine (3D engine for games and real-time virtual worlds)

Let's get running lads. I will install W7 prolly tonight and I want to see some results. I do hope some of you have 5870 and 5890 and will post!

Much love, Chris

Thumbs up

Awww thanks man nice score you got there! Impressive graphics? What is your opinion?

I am coming to get you (since I have a feeling that your AMD is no match for my Q6600@3,5Ghz)

Well, here's my DX11 benchmark score.
Running at the settings in my sig below in windowed mode.
This is as good as my 8800GTS can do!
I'm sure that's what's limiting me now as my system is OCed to 3.5 now since it's cooled down a bunch here.
(60F inside the house)

You can run around on that benchmark's map "free" if you want to & of course I did!
I had to do the "Sky Bridge" that was swaying around between the floating Islands...the swaying gets even worse as you walk across it too! LOL

So here is my score after spending about an hour with updates and stuff to get DX11 to work on my PC. Actually it only took 30 min to get it done just that I didn't realise it was already installed! So while still updating office and stuff I run in 1680x1050 and after seeing the low score which I blame it on Vista vs W7 which you guys have. After checking the pics I realised you guys have run the bench in 1024x768 rofl. So here are my scores.

Overclocked the CPU but no real difference with this but it will in folding.
I'll have to find an app that will OC the video card in Win 7 x64.

Arrow Interesting Results on Vista Ultimate x86

I've been preparing for when my W7 Evaluation expires on me with installing Vista Ultimate & putting all my stuff on it that I want.
I'm really surprised at the performance of what SP2 has done for this OS. Not to mention I didn't even know that it also runs DX11!

Anyways I ran the bench on the Vista Ultimate OS & my score was actually much better! Surprised me...
A nice surprise though...

Which OS are you trying to run it on?
Did the Heaven benchmark at least install?

Strange as I've been able to run it in both W7 & Vista.
