Exclamation Stalker Call of Pripyat Benchmark

I am going to upload the bench in a couple of hours. The bench is about 421Mb and it will be available here at AOAfiles. Till then enjoy this capture from the third stage! BTW this is a bench that runs in all DX versions from DX9 to DX11

Make sure you watch it in 720p YouTube - Stalker@Night

That video is so dark it almost impossible to see anything at all.
The only time you can see anything is when it comes across a Stalker's light or when Lightning lights up a building.
I'd rather have looked at a Daytime bench than a Nighttime bench.
A full moon would have been nice & worked...

Is there an option to change it to daytime?
If not I don't think it's worth the trouble...

I ran it and I will say it ran smoother than the video did but who wants to watch the same scene run over and over again! A big yawn. Here is my results.

Arrow

I ran it on High setting @ 1680x1050 & these are my results...
Yea, it's a boring benchmark to watch just like the Crysis bench is...
If you don't want to be bored, play the game PPM! LOL
This is just to let you know how your system will handle the game is all.
I'd have to run it on Medium if I wanted it to be playable at all, or run it at a lower res...say 1440x900.

I saw the error in my ways! My first run was default settings. On high it makes a bit of difference!

Ye man the point of this bench is to show you how the game will run on your computer. For about 10E you can buy this game thru steam if you own any other stalker game, which is awesome. Nonlinear AI redone everytime you get into the game, play the missions in whatever order you want so many side missions, it is a real pleasure to play! The atmosphere is amazing! This is my result compared to muffin in 1680 same settings and in advanced MSAA off, SSAO default/High and no OC on the GPU.

@ Porporme - can't compare to your results since you used a different resolution.

Ye its fine! I see that while we score high on the max fps my min fps are way higher than yours which is weird. And also when sunshafts are tested your max fps drops way behind mine. What CPU and how many Ghz you have there?

Hey guys, ltns. Thought I'd run a benchmark of my (relatively) new rig.

I'm running 2 gts250s (1Gb) in SLI
Not sure why my min FPS dipped so low. On the first run through it actually froze on me. Not sure if it's a problem with my setup or the benchmark.

Hey Daniel!

Lots of goings on, I have my CCNA now, and since then I got a job, and then got laid off. It's been exciting!

Now I'm splitting studying for more certifications, looking for a job, and playing games (just got Arkham Asylum).

So, what's new around here?
