Exclamation Linux - windows benchmark

As Daniel requested I thought after seeing various videos on youtube we shall give it a try!

FishIE Tank

Feel free to use it on different browsers and report back the results.

I'd be willing to bet that you are not using the proper video card drivers on your live DVD.

Yeah was thinking the same, but how in the world would it fail to recognise an old intel chipset/gpu... this is sad!

Low end graphics card on my desktop - had to increase the number of fish a bit to get to read a sensible value below 60. The benchmark seems to be limited to 60fps max, which makes it rather hard.

Edit:
IE9 gets me 49FPS with 20 fish
Chrome gets me about 41FPS with 500 fish
Firefox 13 gets me about 38FPS with 1000 fish

Why is IE so slow?

I just went with default settings, didn't turn off FAH as it behaves so well I can game and not be bothered by FHA in the least. My CPU is set to 4.8 and Geforce 8800 GTS is set at stock speed.

Many thanks Chris for a beautiful Benchmark!

Chris if your running LIVE you don't have any graphics Drivers installed other than really crummy Linux drivers. As in Windows Drivers must be installed...

Boy, I hope I got this one right!

I'm not at all sure what's going on here...but, My GPU's temp should not be at idle when under stress, (water-cooled card), should be well past 50F if it was being used?

I went back and turned off Folding and tried again, second picture. How sure are we that it's accessing our Graphics cards?
