What version should I get of DirectX? I haven't really stayed updated on that scene, dunno if what came with my WinXP is new enough or if there is something better...

Current version is 8.1 and it ships with Win XP.

I think there's a version 9 coming soon which seems to be related to the new ATI 9700 and GF5(?) cards. Not sure about this.

There's a minor update to the directx 8.1 file, I uploaded version "b", it's not certified for Win XP Pro (is for w2k), but from what I heard it works fine.
