Bloody cheap-ass electronics!

hi all,
earlier, i went to a local shopping outlet (the place where i work is part of it) to have a look at a camcorder. We'd heard an advert on the radio that said that a shop were selling digital camcorders for £70! And to my surprise, it was true! When we got there, the shelf was full of them but there was also some at £40. Me, trying to save a bit of money, bought the last one at £40. I got it home, to find it doesn't work! It beeps! whoa, amazing camcorder, with beeping function (terms and conditions: no other functions)! My dad bought one of the other camcorders (at £70). got it home, it looks better, has more stuff with it, and it actually works! How come i'm always the unlucky one! The one my dad bought looks like a sony handycam, but it's a different brand. The one i bought, light metallic blue (i wasn't too bothered about the colour if it worked), fits into palm of hand without much of it showing, lightweight (probably because it only has a buzzer inside ) and seemed a good deal. But not when it involves me, something always goes wrong when it involves me. But my dad doesn't know much about electronics and he's always lucky. I know that i live by twisted logic but this just takes the biscuit. Ah well, i'm going to get £70 out of my bank accout tomorrow, send my mum to get one (because i'm at school) of the £70 camcorders and then take the cheap-ass faulty one back when i get home from school. Thing is, i only wanted one so that me and my mates can start work on a 'project' that we've been planning (Total Ownage Video 2006). I thought it would be a good idea if we had more than one angle of the action; people, getting owned (basically different people doing stupid stuff e.g. running into clear doors pretending we didn't see them, stuff like that). I really hate cheap taiwanese (!!!) (according to google) products.

I can't wait until we are filming, there's about 8 of us who are friends, the craziest one of all has the camcorder......And the second craziest one of us all is getting a £70 camcorder! I may also star in it! Hey, i'm always up for diving in the ditch that was left after the builders finished building the new school And running into doors. Even filming people we don't know getting told off by teachers. Take this for example, we were walking through school the other day, and someone got told off because they had a baseball cap on. My mate walked passed and just shoted 'OWNED!' at the top of his voice! Shame we weren't filming then. Filming starts tomorrow using my mates camera.

Ah well, i've got the better camcorder, very good buy, it's a Vivitar DVR-310. Now all i need is my SD card to arrive!
