Like I said, it often helps with stuck pixels, and would be unlikely to help with the line. Can also help with plasma burn (this is running it solidly for 12hrs generally)

jscreenfix is a great little tool, don't stare at it for too long though, you might get sucked in!

Glad you finally got your monitor and its better than you perhaps expected it was going to be, shame it took so long as so much stress.

I think some of the problem is that Customer Care isn't as technically knowledgeable, if at all, as technical support

I would still like to hear from someone else at Dell, other than the people I spoke to on the phone in Malaysia.

Thought they would be in Bangalore? At least that where the overseas call centre is for UK and Ireland

Review of the Dell 24" has been slightly delayed by the arrival of a Thermaltake Kandalf LCS (thats the watercooled one with the 120mmx360mm radiator and 3 X 12CM fans in the door)

Suffice to say, it works. 3 degrees above room temperature at idle, 8 degrees above at full load...

And better yet, Thermaltake included a heap of poorly translated case badges and thank you notes, along the lines of "You Are Customer Superstar Hero Number 1 Guy"

Even if it is nonsensical ramblings of some idiot in Taiwan, at least they care

Black, matching the Dell 24"s

The aluminium isn't ideal, as I found out from the Xaser II 6000. It dents easily and the surface begs for scratches. On top of that, its only 3KG lighter than the steel one.

To put this in perspective:

Steel = 23KG
Aluminium = 20KG
.
Pics to come, I took heaps.
