| In the N. control panel I've set it to 16X and 16q runs fine, but can't turn on AA in game and still get back in..unless I del the config....

| Is applying AA and AF in the driver actually having an effect in game? I'll ask around about the issue. Its possible that your video card isnt completely configured yet. Try this: open a terminal and su to root, then enter the following: nvidia-xconfig let me know what the output is.
