ACX110 and FC7...

...Sucks.

Anyone tried it? I really don't want to start messing with ndiswrapper, but looks like I have no other options.

Specifically to install the drivers under Fedora 7, there is a how-to guide:

Yeah, was following that a few hours back, I ran into a wall somewhere, although can't remember where. Will try after some sleep. ~

Thanks.

-Infact, I was getting compile errors, so need to install it outside the kernal tree. Will try later when I can tell the difference between hash and backspace. #

A solidarity moment here people! ":O}

I was just so pleased to hear someone else admit to not even being able to remember what went wrong! I hate it! LOL

"Have you try Unbantu?"

"Sure I liked it!"

"so what went wrong?"

"I don't know."

"Can you give me a hint?"

"Are you trying to pick a fight?"

No, I just thought... never mind..."

Ubuntu was ok, however, pointless for this applicartion since it ships with a ACX110 driver, but the driver doesn't seem to work in most cases and has serious conflicts with the Firmware. Installing this from scratch is one thing. Having to clean out the existing drivers ontop of that is another.
