Yeong Yang Cube Case

I just picked up a YY-0221 Cube case off Ebay for $115, sans PSU. An outfit called Eramax www.eramax.com sells them regular for $149.

Here's my gig: I need to make the mobo side of this case air-tight. I'm planning to refrigerate the CPU, NB, GPU and maybe even RAM. Dealing with condensation on all of this would be a major PITA, so I'm just gonna seal the whole shebang, and stick a desicant in with the mobo to dry the air out.

I've got most everything worked out except how to seal the stinking side panel. Around three edges, it's pud to seal, but the top edge is cut different from the rest. My original plan was to RTV the edge of the panel, cover the RTV with plastic wrap and then close the panel. Once the RTV sets up, I open the panel, pull the plastic wrap, and presto, instant seal. But this funky edge messes me up. I dunno what to do now. Any suggestions? Sorry, no pics. I'll try to get some tomorrow.

BTW, this case ROCKS. I think it could double as a bomb shelter. Stick 4 wheels and a motor on it, and it could be my Mom's Oldsmobile. The only thing heavier is maybe the M1 tank. Cutting this sheet metal is liable to be a career.

Ok. Got some pics. All of the pictures can be found here if you want to look.

For now, the relevant ones are:
http://www.digistar.com/~gizmo/casepics/toplcrnr.jpg
This isn't a real good picture, but I think you can see how the top inner lip of the case is recessed.

And then this one:

This is a little dark, but hopefully you can make out how the sheet metal of the side panel here is folded over to make it thicker so that it can butt up against the recess in the case.

Nothing (Knew someone that operated one of those for a living before he passed away)
But as long as you provide the metal (sidepannel) and make the design in autocad yourself they shouldnt charge you much for using the machine for 20 min or so.

Yes yes I know It probably wont be until My main rig gets replaced though. Then my main one filters down to my secondary rig and the way money is now (trying to save) Im trying to keep no more than 2 computers.

Edit: Rob ill make you a deal. Find me a sweet enough case (thats light!) and Ill trade for it
Like this one for example (well a bit pricy, prehaps a partial trade?)
