Hiding CD and FDD drives

Hello,

First of all What a great forum, Glad I signed up!

Secondly, I'm soon going to be getting a computer all to myself in my room woohoo! but it aint the nicest looking thing , I have quickly chosen a nice new case but want to improve on it even more! So this is my question: How do I hide the CD and FDD drives so It looks a bit more stylish?

Thanks,

Varon

Welcome to the forum

Stealthing your CD drives is accomplished by putting a faceplate over them that is slightly wobley and has a nub over the eject button. I am not exactly sure how to do it. Try doing a search on google.

As for stealthing a FDD, I have never even seen it done. However, most people use a FDD so rarely that you could just mount it in an internal bay facing the interior of the computer. You would just have to open the case when you used it. Which most likely would only be for bios upgrades.

Cool ta very much, I'll have a look round some modding sites tonight for instructions on where to get the faceplate and stuff like that and maybe even find a way to hide my FDD
