Would a 27cfm YSTech 60mm for a top blowhole make a diff?

Yes, it indeed makes a difference. Cutting top case covers that don't come off of the box is a pain. I settled for a 60mm YSTech 27cfm fan on top of my Enlight 7237. These are not real good cases, btw--I'll never buy another.

How much difference does this jumbo blow hole make? 5C decrease in Duron temperature. I was surprised.

I figured this much myself, but for the $25 to get the bit and hole cutter adapter (at Home Depot, was there yesterday looking ), I'd be better off cracking the door in my living area and letting some colder air in...

Not to mention I only have a dremel and no drill, so I'd have to borrow that too...

That's exactly what I did, cost about $22. If you remember my posting spree months ago, the results were an intake on the side and blowhole on top, 8cm's, and the difference was HUGE. In a very small minitower, the cooling matches the biggest and best cases in the market. The case temp went to ambient and stays there.

When getting a power drill, make sure it is corded. I used a cordless, (powerful too), and it took me hours to cut through the steel, with all the re-charges.

Yarr, cordless 3/8" drills are cute and the good ones are expensive. Nonetheless, "1mm" sheet steel(as in PC case covers) does NOT wish to be drilled. It gladly and easily dimples, puckers and bends out of true, but resists drilling. A nice low rpm drill that plugs into the wall is a must.

Space between the rear end of cd-rom drives and the PS is limited in Enlight 7237's. For my personal kind(be it realistic or not) of case geometry, an 80mm is all that'll fit in the top cover.
After making a hole for a 120mm fan in the left case cover with an RS nibbler, I simply didn't have the oomph left for an 80mm hole in the top cover. My other Mid case sports a 92mm blow hole on top--I'm not a total cooling slacker, by the holy rood.

The 60mm hole I nibblered in the Enlight's top cover is the ugliest thing you never want to see. Shameful, it is. So, the 60mm fan is on top(exterior) of the case, to hide the yugly hole.
It kinda looks like the hat worn with traditional male Korean clothing.

Confession is good for the soul, it's said. Anyroad, I'll enlarge it to a nice hole for a traditionally mounted 80mm the next time I pull the everything out of it.

I was surprised that a weenie 60mm blow hole made such a difference. A 5C drop in CPU temperature is significant.
