Our Folding@Home team. |

All you have to do is check out our folding@home site at http://www.team45.info. If you want to do this, there is a simple little program you run on your machine, which just sits in the background and consumes your unused CPU cycles. It runs at a very low priority, so under normal conditions you will never even know it is there, other than the fact that your CPU will always be running flat out at 100%. This means that you need good cooling, and you should keep an eye on your temps, but if your system is properly designed it won't be a problem. The great thing about Folding is that the results of your computer work could help save someone's life. |
