You may be able to modify this to do what you want. http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bi...y.cgi?item=AEC

It would be relatively simple to modify the circuit that Mojo's highlighted, if you have some knowledge of electronics. The chaser circuit without modifications will give you ten outputs that will 'chase' in one direction. With a bit of work with some extra diodes, you can make the behavour look a bit more interesting. Doctronics have a page that features the chip at the heart of the chaser circuit, so you can get a feel of what might be capable. The 'ultimate' version would be one based around a programmable microcontroller, but this requires you to have a good familiarity with both electronics and programming. What level of understanding do you have of electronics?

I have a good understanding of electronics figuring either one would do what I need it to do I can modify either board to do what I need thinking I might buy the chaser one and mess around to see what i can come up with and yea it would be cool to get the inner ring to look like it spinning was thinking of a rulet (sp) wheel type game would work for that Rick |

With the chaser one, you can diode OR lines together to drive LEDs in the pattern you require. Think of the decade counter outputs as an input to a matrix of diodes which shunt signals to where you want them to be.
