I was just gob smacked by the spec of that machine. but the vents seem to be a good idea, i heard that the wavemaster has issues with airflow and seems every one who is serious about cooling has had to mod in one way or another. (one of the reasons i went for the Thermaltake tsunami aka. rebranded wavemaster) Even though it has issues i still love that case...something about it just says "1st class"

Nope, I opted for the straight aluminum, although the black case is definitely awesome looking =)

So i am around 47 C while running at 2200 (10x220). I'd really like to have a slightly lower cpu temp. Any ideas on mods etc?! John

Is there a hole in the top for airflow? Or is that for the USB ports? I can't tell from the picture. |

Looks to me like he needs that fan, then. The current setup would tend to pull air IN through that top vent and vent out through the PSU and rear fan, thus leaving air inside the case fairly stagnant, I would think. He needs to either block that hole, or put an exhaust fan there. Just my 2 cents. ![]() |
