 LEDs wat would i need to do to hack the LED on my case to red?....im thinking of changing it...but i want to make sure if i use a 1.7V led that it will work?

| Is it too difficult to find out what the voltage of the LED is that you want to replace? I may very well be wrong about this, OK? But replacing a ?5v LED with a 1.7v LED seems less than smart--if you wish to avoid doing the math to see how a different LED changes the value of the resistor(s) needed for the circuit.

| When I installed car stereo's, on Denon units you had the option of changing your display by changing the color of the LED's. Simple really, we had a plethora of "mouse rubbers" that were colored and would slip on perfectly over the LED's and change the color. We had red, blue, orange, white, green, purple, and pink.
