cadaveca: cant you just push the core speed to the levels of that of a X850? With an after-market cooler of course.

lol been so long i don't remember. LoL. I have a different cpu in my system right now...it's lost half it's mem controller...so i can only run 512mb right now. the other cpu's are here, but i'm a bit lazy. I was getting around 5600 or 5700 stock. My eventual goal was 7000...top score right now is listed in my sig...at least for '05. have not done 03 yet.

around 63000 in aquamark stock, currently @ 77,000 but yet again, i have not run it at max clocks...think i do that righ now, with this crappy cpu, and see what i get!

stock 01 was around 21000, currently just above 27thousand.

Yeah mine only hits 50C at load. And yours is only 62mhz faster. AND MINES A 3200+ not a 3400+, but check: http://www.aoaforums.com/forum/showt...757#post305757 so overclocking isnt always good.

The X800XL core is capable of hitting X850 speeds, however a volt mod will be necessary 9/10 times.

The memory however won't.

I have a feeling it is already running near to it's rating maximum speed.

BTW, you do not need me to kill things, It's far cheaper and easier to simply lob the card at some walls for about 1/2 hour.
