Me: A lot
My PC: 1

*sigh*

Using model paint wasnt a very good idea
OH, it sticked to the paint... Just the paint didnt stick to the metal anymore...

But i wanted to have the window behind it, for multiple reasons.. So i will temporarily just use tape, hope it sticks for as long as i dont have a replacement glue...
When i have this replacement glue, any ideas btw?, i will have to remove the paint i have on it now, apply primer again and the grass green paint too, then attempt to put the window behind it a second time... *sigh*

Oh, i have to say it looks better with the glass behind it, i dont really know why though...

Almost done, One step away from completion to be precise: i need me some lights!! (Xmas, be here quickly please :P)

The damage from the previous post

Anyway, i asked my dad which glue i should use in this situation, and the first word out of his mouth was "dubbelzijdig plakband" (or in english 'dual sided tape' i believe).
So i used that, and it has only one (slight) disadvantage, its not invisible, but white.
Looking like this But since this is a side you almost never see, its not that bad, me thinks...

The unlighted results (I need lights!!)
The green monster As i baptized the case. (Too bad the contents arent that monster like anymore... oh well)

Next update will be in.. oh.. 1.5, 2 weeks.

Dremel? weak.

In high school, Daniel modded cases with a straight blade screwdriver and a hammer. But there was no electricity, and nobody really understood what he was doing. Lots of banging and sharp objects tend to make people very polite though, so Daniel never got discouraged.

Kids, always want the easy way.

Again its not the slowness thats the problem... I would have happily cut the whole side of the case with the dremel its just that the cutter wheels break so easily, which would mean that i didnt have enough wheels to finish it in the first place...

About the lights
For starters i get two light green neon bars (sound sensitive if its up to me...)
Then i was thinking of making something out of acryl glass to get the two case fans from 80mm to 120mm (or at least 92mm), which then will be UV green, both of them. Of course i would need some UV lights then .
Then i was thinking of getting rid of both optic drives and buy a SATA DVD+/-RW and put that in (more longer term plan). And then find a way to put windows on my SATA, so i dont have any IDE left anymore..., it would also save on the power wiring...
Oh, and im also getting a Zalman VF700-Cu for my ATi 98pro... (but thats more a noise issue)

when case modding goes wrong
when case modding goes ok-ish
When you finaly wake up and think "how did i ever thought of putting a 120mm here, in this 80mm socket... (yes, i was planning on making something... but i dont bother now anymore )

And when you buy a 80mm UV green fan

In order how one should look at it:
1 (off)
2 (turned on)
3 (main lights of my room turned off)
4 (side head on)
5 (front with Aerogate 2 & beam leds)

Its not done yet (i need a DVD SATA burner, and get rid of the IDE HDD. And i still have a 92mm UV Green Fan to buy... Plus, the inside is a mess... (cable wise)

EDIT: oh, renamed the project (from the green monster or something) to "Nature's Tranquility"

Hi again,

I have made a webpage about the casemod:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~jeckman1/Case%20Mod/

All above links can be dead now.

On that note, where is my edit button to edit in the link in the first post (and say all other links can be dead)?

Cheers,
Merroc
