Little side project.

I've been a little distracted from the ITX cube project lately. I'm slowly modding the hell out of a Mac Quadra 950. It's gonna be sweet. Most of it is in black base coat atm. It will be a combination of Black and charcoal with Blue lighting. Definite overkill on the lighting with 4 12" blue cold cathodes. The 120 MM fan on the inside is going to be swapped for a glowy blue one. The visible interior will be skinned with 1/8" mirrored acrylic Everything else inside is stainless steel. They are actually really pretty machines. The Power supply in these is huge. It's 120mm fan site about 5 or 6 inches back from the front of the machine. I'm going to cut a 5" apple shaped window in the face of the machine to show it off.

The specs on that power supply are sick, btw. Has redundant 12v. 5amp each. One of the 5v's is 1.25 amp (constant power) and the other is 33amps lol. Oh, and it's modular.

Can't wait to see the finished case! Use you flash so we can see brighter pictures. That power supply is HUGE!
Where are all the power cables?

Macs have always had modular power. The headers are on the bottom of the supply.

Take your snapshots using a white/ or light colored backround so that the pictures show up better.
