Custom Fan Grills

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Laser-Cut-60mm...QQcmdZViewItem

Was searching for grills, came across that. For anyone who's interested, he's got a 100% feedback record, so I kinda trust him >=0.

Those are awsome! I may try to make some of my own someday.
I would have to use a jewelry saw and files, but it would be a lot cheaper.
Then again, I wonder how much he charges....
I like the Nuclear design.
I'm afraid to send him a design because he may sell it to someone else...

There's usually a few on ebay. For example here's one and a half large systems.

...You're kidding, right? $230,000, to make things that you sell on eBay for like, £5 each? You'd never make your money back.

Blah, maybe a saw and stencil will be easier =D

They've got some smaller units for like $35,000 or so. Still, you'd have to sell a lot of pieces to make your money back. Most likely, this guy uses that laser to do industrial stuff and this is just a sideline.

I guess a plasma cutter steady hand and sander would be better.

How about a bandsaw with a metal cutting blade?
BandSaw
Just make sure your metal is fairly thick so it won't bend/break when you cut small details.
