Side Window

How hard is is too cut, and mount this on an Chieftech Dragon Case?
Directorn offers the service and it would run about 100 Doolars total to send my side panel in, get the hole cut, window mounted, sticker applied and sent back.

Now I see a window kit cost about 15 bucks, the sticker about the same.
But I have no exprince with cutting window mods, dont have a dremel, I belive it called?
So Im not sure if im just better off send it in, and letting the pros handle it

I say you do it yourself. Because modding it is half the fun. Its not easy cutting with a dremel, but if you have a spare sheet of metal, you could practice. Remember, hide the ugly cut with some window sealing rubber!

Ok thanks, I will proably wait for my B-Day and have it sent in as a present:-D, because I can just see myself cutting my side panel in half or something:nervous:

Well, this what I did. You can clearly see the "perfect" cut. . Waiting until next week so I can buy some of that rubber sealant for 6.99 (CAD)... mmm. paycheck.

I got that same case. I'm still thinking up ideas for the window. I want something more than a square, but I haven't decided what yet.

Wickedly tall case. Is it a server model? I am thinking about an Antec server case for my next one.. This one works right now, but is too short. It will have all the bays full once I get enought money for the S.B. LiveDrive!..

demonX - Try a local metal shop... Maybe a car shop would do it for you. My dad has a friend who owns a metal engraving shop and they have a laser cutter. They will be doing the hole next week (And either very cheep or free, too!)

Yeah, it's really nice to know this guy, espescialy right now, when I need a window hole cut in! I'll post pics as soon as the mods are done

That case is a no-name Full tower. Got lucky on it... Got it for cheap without a box.
