Tired of Blue!

So Matt and I changed things up a bit We also tore apart the liquid cooling system and flushed and cleaned it, inspected the pump Impellar and put on all new hoses. We painted Everything!! Even the speakers are color coordinated.
Hey just have a look. It was really fun.

Well I'll tell ya I am just not sure yet. I see where Tyrou got some Corsair to DDR1200 with some pretty good timings on just air. Quite franly I just have a lot of reading to do. I see where G.Skill has some 6400 mem on the D9XX fat bodies too. Really reasonbly priced. Might jump in right there. And run just one 1900 card to begin with.
you will have to run a Conroe too to keep from getting run over.
I am just going to run the 6600 though. Looking to get to around 3500mhz as a daily clock and I'll be happy with that. Are you going Conroe or are you sticking with the AMD on the AM2 platform?

Depends on what gives me more bang for my buck. AM2 4x4 platform sounds ideal for multi-gpu, as kentsfield won't offer the same bandwidth/core, due to the single package.

Great job WZ, i love the colors. One question, I would love to see a pic of how you mounted the front panel to sit sideways with the drives in it, but i love that you have it that way, so you can see right in the window, and still have front access to your drives. Very cool.

That is a brilliant case design. You should sell that to a major case manufacturer for a llittle kick back...

Thanks guys, I got to tell you that the original process ( Build ) was a fun time. I will tell you also that Matt and I were thinking about trying to find some old John Deere memorabilia for the desk and case. This was just too much fun for us. If you nothiced we painted sata cables, Floppy
and IDE cables 110V pump power supply cable. We ran a-muck. And it glows in the dark real nice.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../IMG_1897a.jpg
And the top fan does too.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../IMG_1899a.jpg
Oh yes Matt masked off the windows of a couple cars which we color coordinated also and placed on the desk
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../IMG_1903a.jpg
Lamborghini Diablo and Mitsubishi Eclipse Spider.
The lamp on my desk will get it soon too!! and all my shelves agin as I said earlier mods are never really finished!!

Nicely done bud, the color scheme is very exotic and eye catching.
