Aesthetic and style are very broad and general terms.

So, you could argue that those two do play a part in most consumer goods. Colour selection alone, could be described as belonging to stylising or asthetics.

Mobile phones are not all that stylised, just for the sake of it. Curved corners, edges, etc. are more about comfort than style. They help ensure the phone is comfortable in the hand or pocket.

The curves do help with the general appearance. This is the kind of thing I am referring to when I say good functional design, almost always results in something which is pleasing to the eye.

I should have mentioned, that this really applies to any object which humans physically interact with.

I totally agree with everything you've just said.
The terms are very inter-twining (right word?).

Daniel. I probably failed my Mechanics exam. If I have to retake, then if there is anyone here knowledgeable on the subject who reckons they could help me out, that'd be cool.
I also had Principles of Tech (Engines, Materials, general stuff) which I did fine on. However, the lecturer included far too many questions and us students are putting together a letter of signatures so it can be sorted out.

I have 3 more exams. I need to pass at least one, but ideally 3 out of the 4 (as I probably failed mech).

It a struggle, learning how much force one must bring to bear to get the job done, somehow few of us overshoot the mark in the beginning, mostly we fall short at first....

Increase your efforts, things will come around.
