Masking Tutorial

Booman gives us some guidance on masking techniques:

If you have ever wanted to create some dramatic painting effects without having to purchase an expensive airbrush and compressor, then masking will be a cheaper and more convienient substitute. I am creating a simple two color case by using masking tools that you can easily find at hardware and craft stores.
