Case Fans & Ducting-

Me and my friends decided to add 80-92mm case fans on the sides of our cases- im using 80&92mm fans running at around 5400rpm 30cfm- i am using aluminum ducting from a holloween costume when i was 7 and a computer.....(ohh the horrors......)
It seems to work great on my servers- dont have quite the 8ALLS to do it to my system yet............
Anyone else try this.......

Wicked. I just installed my duct (Use flex dryer ducting!) and the temp is now down to 35C in idle and about 40C in stress. On Friday, I will be able to do a 24 hour stress test. That will show what the max temp is, I think.

Ducts are very easy. Cut a hole for a fan that is the same size as the one on the heatsync, and then run a connecting Dryer duct from the case fan to the heatsync. Just make sure that your case fan and heatsync fans are running the SAME way!
